Mr. Michael Scharf Jr
Michael Scharf Jr. began his public service in 1998 when he was hired with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office. Michael’s career at the Sheriff’s Office has been extremely diverse and included thousands of hours of advanced police training.
He spent 7 years in the crime scene investigative unit, assisting on hundreds of crime scenes. He spent 3 years in the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team where he was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Agency. He was involved and responsible for high-level narcotic trafficking investigations. He was a founding member of the Macomb County Sheriff Honor Guard and a 7-year member of the Special Weapons and Tactics team.
In 2011, Michael pursued his dream of becoming a lawyer and was accepted at Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He continued serving the citizens of Macomb County as a Deputy Sheriff and graduated from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2014. He was admitted to the Michigan Bar in May of 2015.
Michael is a devoted husband and father of 4. He is hard working and passionate about every aspect of his life. He practices in the areas of family law and criminal defense. Specifically, Michael handles divorces, custody disputes, and parenting time issues. He also handles estate planning and criminal law.
