Murray Mentorship Program

Thursday, July 1, 2027

This is a no-cost annual renewal program. Renewal date is July 1, 2027.

Event Details

The Macomb County Bar Association is proud to introduce the Murray Mentorship Program, a new initiative dedicated to connecting experienced attorneys with those newer to the profession.

The program is named in honor of Carole Murray, whose passing this year was felt deeply throughout our legal community. Carole was more than an accomplished attorney—she was a trusted colleague, a generous mentor, and a friend to countless lawyers throughout Macomb County. No matter where you were in your career, Carole always had time to offer guidance, encouragement, and support.

The Macomb County Bar Association strongly believes that success in the law is built through relationships, shared experiences, and the willingness of one attorney to help another.

It is especially fitting that we are launching this program on what would have been Carole's birthday. The Murray Mentorship Program was created to honor her legacy by fostering meaningful connections between attorneys and strengthening the bonds within our legal community. We encourage you to participate, whether as a mentor or a mentee.

Program Requirements

  • Mentor – I am an attorney or judge with at least six (6) years of legal experience and would like to mentor a newer attorney.
  • Mentee – I am within my first five (5) years of practice or new to the Macomb County legal community and would like to be paired with an experienced attorney mentor.
