Event Details

In recognition of Law Day 2026, the Macomb County Bar Association is joining bar associations and legal organizations across the country to host a nonpartisan oath reaffirmation ceremony for attorneys. This occasion offers members of the legal community an opportunity to renew their dedication to the Constitution and to the principles of the rule of law, judicial independence, and professional integrity. The Bar Association is honored to have Macomb County Judge, Judge Maceroni, preside over the ceremony and administer the Attorney’s Oath.

Law Day is an annual commemoration held on May 1st to celebrate the rule of law and cultivate a deeper understanding of the legal system. Join members of the tri-county Bar Associations and other metro Detroit attorneys on May 1, 2026, at noon in front of the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center by The Spirit of Detroit statue. Former Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice and current City of Detroit corporation counsel Conrad Mallett, Jr. will deliver brief remarks.
